Black and white photographic print of a model of the first Chicago & Northwestern Railway Depot in Winnetka. A model engine and coal car are sitting in front of the depot. This is one of a series of 26 photographic prints (2744.1 to 2744.26) of a model landscape of early Winnetka buildings from 1830-1854. The photograph was taken August 9, 1950 by Dr. Davies Lasear for the Winnetka Historical Societ. Models were made by Frank A. Windes. The background was painted by Emil Neglick. |
